Former Oregon Coach Mike Bellotti Inductee For Oregon Sports Hall Of Fame

It was announced on Tuesday that former Oregon Ducks Head Coach Mike Bellotti will be inducted into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame as part of the 2015 Class next month. He was with the University of Oregon as Offensive Coordinator from 1989 to 1994 and Head Coach of the Ducks from 1995-2008. In that time he took the team to two Pac-10 Championships in 2000 and 2001.

Mike Bellotti is the winningest coach in Oregon Football History. Twelve of his thirteen seasons at the helm were winning seasons. According to Wikipedia, is credited with building the program into a major football power that continues to this day. He was also inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame last year. The former Oregon Coach will be joined by other accomplished sports athletes and coaches from around the State of Oregon.

According to the Democrat Herald, former Oregon State football and basketball player Elmer Kolberg, Portland Trailblazers player David Stoudamire, and LeAnne Warren, University of Oregon Track and Field star as well as the 2000 Oregon State Fiesta Bowl Champion Football team will also be inducted.

Bellotti is currently a college football analyst with ABC and ESPN.

The 2015 Oregon Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on November 19th.
