Details  for This Weekend's Jap-Fest at Mondello

Including IDC the FINAL FIGHT

On September 27th Ireland's top drifters will once more challenge the world's best to come and try to take away their unbeaten 11 year run. Jap-Fest 2015 will centre around the concluding round of the 2015 IDC with the added attraction of the arrival of some of the worlds biggest Drifting names, this time in their own cars, to try and become the first to beat the Irish on home soil.

Top of the entry list of visitors will be Japanese Superstars Daigo Saito and Robbie Nishida and they will be joined by one of the biggest ever International entries seen at Mondello Park with UK, French, Spanish and Polish entries joining the five Irish drivers in contention for the championship. The IDC will take place over two days with Rookie and Semi Pro competition running on Saturday with the added bonus for the top performers of a chance to enter Pro Qualifying on Sunday. Sunday's event will be all about the Pro's as the 2015 title is decided on the original Mondello Park Drift Track in front of the Main Straight Grandstand and live on the big screen.

Sunday's track action will also include the final round of the 2015 Irish Time-Attack Championship and an all Japanese Car Race, while in the Paddock the Live action will continue with the Fueltopia Barrel Sprint.

The paddock will also house one of the biggest ever Jap-Fest displays of Car Club and Web site stands featuring Ireland's most impressive Japanese Cars. For more info on Jap-Fest 2015 see www.mondellopark.ie/jap-fest.

2015 JAP-FEST Admission and Grandstand Tickets

Admission to the event will be available on the day but grandstand seating is only available by pre-booking.

TICKETS

Tickets for Jap-Fest are currently on sale at reduced prices compared to the on-the-day price. Tickets can be purchased for Saturday, Sunday or for the weekend. Under 16's are admitted free of charge on Saturday but there is a charge on Sunday for 12-16 year old's with under 12's admitted free. Family tickets are available for Sunday. Admission Tickets to Jap-Fest do not include Grandstand seating which must be purchased separately.

GRANDSTAND

Grandstand seating offers the best views of the Mondello Park Drift Track and the big screen where the event will be shown live. Tickets for the Grandstand must be purchased separately from admission tickets and Grandstand tickets are required to be purchased for all people wishing to sit in the Grandstand including under 12's who have been admitted free to the event. Grandstand seating for Saturday is free while for Sunday can only be purchased in advance (some seats may be available for purchase if not all are sold in advance).
