Long awaited Ubuntu mobile now available via Snapdeal

Ubuntu was planned to release it's own device called edge but because of lack of donations the project got stopped and later BQ launched Ubuntu's devices but they were not available in India. Now after a long time BQ has launched it's 2 Ubuntu based devices via Snapdeal Aquaris E5 & Aquaris E4.5.

Aquaris E5 main features:
5-inch 720p IPS touchscreen, a MediaTek chipset with a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. There's a 13 MP camera with dual-LED flash on the back, and a 5 MP front snapper. The phone boasts dual-SIM functionality. Internal memory 16GB, User available 13GB and expanadable up to 32GB

Aquaris E4.5 main features:
4.5 inche touch screen and the qHD resolution of the IPS panel results in a pixel density of 244ppi. Running the show is a Mediatek chipset with its Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz. A single gig of RAM is onboard as well as 8GB of internal storage, of which 5.5GB are available to the user. A microSD slot offers expansion up to 32GB.The dual-SIM phone is limited in connectivity options.
