Selfless service by a Corper in Baruten local government, Kwara

A batch C Corp member named Idowu Kayode, who studied Agriculture and Animal Science at Ahmadu Bello university, Zaria, serving at Baruten local government, Kosubosu, Kwara state. According to his friend, he voluntarily did this humanitarian service to the people of Kosubosu because of the poor nutrition among the masses.
"His voluntary farm land comprises of various cash crops, vegetables and tuber crops. This project have added much value to the nutritional value of the people of Baruba. This kind of humanitarian self less service should be the core value of all corp members not looking out for national or presidential awards in return." Corp member Okere Ugonna said. It wasn't easy, but 'twas worth the stress. It is the Lord's doing, so wonderful in my sight. May His name be praised!

Frankly spking that guy has written his name on the tablet of gold and left an indelible mark on the sand of time. Posterity shall never 4get him.
That was the same area I served 2009 and can tell you that it is only men of integrity that can serve there. It is like another country entirely, talking abt infrastructure-zero,telecom and the rest.
That is Benin Republic in diasphora.
But the good aspect of this all is that he is a hero

Anonymous said...

I equally did same in 2009. It is not easy at all.
He is a hero.
That region of the country is Benin Republic in diasphora and so interior.
It takes men and women of integrity and moral value to survive there

very kind of him.God will provide for him as he has provided for the people in that villiage.

This is great to see, I served at the "Border" Village, Chikanda in this Local governmnet. It was heaven , no Electricity , pipe Borne water and the roods were extremely bad but i stayed cos i figured that I was needed there to serve. Though I was a qualified Accountant then, but it was not always going to be about me, It was about the People of the Land that needed a Hand. I'm glad i made the choice, many could not cope and they left. We need to understand that Cleverness is a gift but Kindness is a choice, I still "smell" the air around there as i write, it's freshness is second to none. I miss Baruteen! Great people!
