Former two-time world champion Paulie Malignaggi will make one of his dreams come true on September 26 when he fights in the main event of a show at famed Principe theater in Milan. That’s what the Magic Man says about it:

“Fighting in Italy has always been my desire as I was born in New York from Italian parents, I lived the first six years of my life in Italy and I visited my ancestral country (whose language I speak perfectly) countless times.”

Malignaggi (33-7) will fight over the six round distance; the opponent will be announced soon.

On the undercard, two fights involving former Italian champions: welterweight Antonio Moscatiello (18 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw) and super lightweight Renato De Donato (15-3) will fight over the six rounds distance against separate opponents to be announced.

The September 26 show is co-promoted by Principe Boxing Events led by Alessandro Cherchi and OPI 2000, the company led by Salvatore Cherchi (Alessandro’s father).
