The 23-year-old pop star was photographed leaving the Nice Guy restaurant in a slinky, sleeveless, cleavage-baring, color-block, Yin and Yang-like black and white David Koma Resort 2016 maxi dress with a thigh-high slit that turned into a larger curved opening, laced up all the way up to her chest with a black cord. No undergarments were visible. She paired the look with a pair of black, strappy sandals.
Gomez, who appeared with a friend, was spotted two days before the 2015 MTV VMAs. Her new song "Good for You," featuring A$AP Rocky, is nominated for Song of Summer, as is friend Taylor Swift's single "Bad Blood," whose music video features Gomez.
Swift, who recently brought the singer onstage at her last Los Angeles concert during her 1989 tour, earlier this month tweeted her support for her to win the award.

The ceremony airs live on MTV from Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater on Sunday at 9 p.m. PT and will be hosted by fellow Disney Channel alum Miley Cyrus, 22, who stole the 2013 show with a risqué performance with Robin Thicke, 38.
