POMONA >> An 18-year-old man was shot today at an apartment complex in Pomona, but is expected to survive.
Officers dispatched at 12:35 a.m. to the 900 block of West Ninth Street found David Aguilar in the courtyard of the apartment complex, said Pomona police Lt. Chuck Becker.
It was not immediately known what led up to the shooting, Becker said, but added the suspect got into a gray, four-door sedan, which had three to four occupants.
The sedan fled westbound on Ninth Street, he said.
