Charles Sykes/BravoRamona Singer has said and done a lot of unthinkable things over the years ("Who are you to get me wet?!"), but during part three of The Real Housewives of New York City reunion she pulled out all the stops: She fell asleep. Not only that, she fell asleep while Dorinda Medley and Carole Radziwill were talking about their late husbands and the trip they took to London that was so emotional and raw it was unlike anything seen on The Real Housewives. And Ramona fell asleep. You have to love Ramona.
"Ramona took a pretty good beating last time, so it was understandable that she passed out. NOT. You cannot write this s--t," Bethenny Frankel wrote in her Bravo blog. "They threw the mold away with Singer, and I love it. To give you an idea of what the reunion environment is like, it would be like sitting in the middle of Grand Central Station on a weekday. To say the least, there is a lot going on. LOL. My goal in life is to sleep on command, so obviously I'm jealous."
Yes, it is quite impressive that she fell asleep with all those hot lights bouncing off all the sequins dresses, but we'd be more impressed if she fell asleep during one of the many shouting matches about topics such as: Adam Kenworthy, Countess Luann de Lesseps' "girl code," Sonja Morgan's heritage lifestyle luxury fashion line, the Berkshires, Dorinda's lack of nap and consumption of dirty martinis, etc.
As Andy Cohen said, Ramona was the first to walk off a reunion set and now the first to dose off. Ramona Singer is a Real Housewives goddess.
The Real Housewives of New York City isn't quite done yet: on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 9 p.m. there will be a secrets revealed special, and then later in September, we're getting a 100th episode special featuring interviews with Big Apple ladies past and present.
