Pokkén Tournament will be released for Wii U worldwide in Northern Hemisphere spring 2016.

A new fighter not (currently) available in the arcade version, Pikachu Libre, will appear in the game. This is in addition to the current cast of Charizard, Pikachu, Machamp, Gengar, Suicune, Gardevoir, Blaziken, Lucario, and Weavile.

Additionally, Pokkén Tournament arcade units are present at the 2015 World Championships for attendants to play.
