Oregon Football Recruiting: Ducks Offer 4-Star Wide Receiver Tre Nixon

The Oregon Ducks continue to look to bolster their recruiting class for 2016 and after the first two offers given were Defensive they turn their attention to the Offense and a position of need next year at Wide Receiver. Scott Frost has zeroed in on one of the top Wideouts in the country in Tre Nixon.

Nixon is six foot one and one-hundred seventy pounds out of Melbourne, Florida according to 247Sports.com . He is also fast running a 4.38 forty yard dash. If he does commit to Oregon he would be one of the fastest players on the team and certainly push for playing time his Freshman season.

Nixon had a breakout year last season in high school with over one-thousand yards receiving and catching thirteen touchdowns. He also had one-hundred forty three yards on the ground.

The Class of 2016

is beginning to take some shape for the Oregon Ducks. He has recently received offers from Alabama, Texas A&M, and Ole Miss.

In looking through his Twitter timeline, the offers for Nixon are beginning to pile up hot and heavy over the last few weeks, with a retweet of his Oregon offer on August 1st. 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions have Nixon high on Penn State. He also holds offers from Cal, Arizona and now Oregon.
