for 2015 as the USC Trojans were chosen by forty-five members of the media to win the Pac-12 Conference over the expected North Division winner. Southern California picked up 27 of 45 votes, with Oregon picking up 17. If you look at the North Division, the Ducks are expected to win with 37 first place votes. The Stanford Cardinal received 7 first place votes and came in second for the North followed by Cal, Washington, Washington State and Oregon State. Oregon has been picked to win the North Division for the sixth year in a row.

The rivalry between the Oregon Ducks and USC Trojans has been dormant since 2011, the last time the teams played. The outcome was a win for USC. Both teams have not met since and will meet this season, again in Eugene and that game will clearly begin to tell the story of the 2015 season for both teams. Right now, it is the Game of the Year in the Pac-12 and could result in more than one meeting, the first on November 21st. They could also meet in Santa Clara in the Pac-12 Championship Game on Friday, December 4th.

The non-conference slate for both teams will be a challenge with the Oregon Ducks travelling to Michigan State for a non-conference matchup. USC has a meeting with Notre Dame in South Bend on October 17th.
