Crop Production Services wins environmental award

Crop Production Services of Crowville and Winnsboro recently earned the Environmental Respect Award for Louisiana.

The Farm Chemicals International’s Environmental Respect Awards program was created 25 years ago to encourage and honor excellence in stewardship, educate retailers and distributors around the world on safe business practices and promote environmentalism in agriculture to the industry and the general public.

Dealers and distributors that are honored with Environmental Respect Awards “have displayed outstanding initiative and are shining examples of what it takes to make the world a safer, cleaner place in which to live and work,” the program said.

Crop Production Services celebrated its award with a luncheon earlier this month that included employees, local first-responders, elected officials and company executives.
