West Monroe man arrested on pornography charges

A joint investigation by members of the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit, the Louisiana State Police, the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office and the FBI Violent Crimes Against Children Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a West Monroe man on juvenile pornography charges.

Based on evidence developed during the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence in West Monroe on Tuesday. As a result, Robert D. Gilley, Jr., 35, of West Monroe was arrested.

Gilley was booked and is currently held at OCC on 40 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles and 25 counts of distribution of pornography involving juveniles.
