"People's President Joins the stars" headlines The Times of India. The Hindu writes 'Ex President, Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam was the far-sighted architect of India's space and missile programmes, an institution builder and a visionary, who always wanted to build a strong and self reliant India. His body will be flown to his residence - 10 Rajaji Marg New Delhi this morning, reports The Indian Express.

Terror striking Punjab near Gurdaspur yesterday, is also extensively reported upon. The Tribune headline reads "Terror again: They came to kill, got killed".
