The Chennault Aviation and Military Museum's Aircraft Restoration Team completes work on its first full airplane restoration. The aircraft, originally a Beech C-45, was converted to a AT-11 M-18R, which was used as a light bomber by Gen. Claire Chennault during World War II. A ceremony unveiling the aircraft was held at the museum on Tuesday.

The plane was named "Floy's Hope" in memory of the projects primary benefactor, Sidney Wilhite. "He's been a blessing to the museum and continues to be a blessing to the museum," said Ron Griggs, a Vietnam veteran and member of the restoration team.
