Dye was one of the hotter talents with suitors from across the country including Michigan, Wisconsin, Washington State and Oregon State from the Pac-12. He announced his commitment to Oregon last Thursday. He is also expected to enroll early with the Oregon Ducks which will should give him an early jump on seeing the field in 2016.

Andrew Nemic from the Oregonian says that Troy Dye could wind up playing a different position from Safety at Oregon as he has the size to play Linebacker for the Ducks and could have the ability to go over the top to cover receivers. With Breeze in the fold, Dye could be a Defensive force in multiple positions on the field in the coming years.

National Signing Day is set for February 5th 2016.
