You won't see former three division world champion Adrien Broner driving around in his expensive cars anytime soon -- because his driver's license was just suspended as part of his sentence in his DUI case.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Broner was popped for drunk driving in Ohio back in January -- and during the arrest he bragged to the arresting officers that he was rich, famous and made more than $100 million in his boxing career.

Now, we've learned ... Broner struck a deal with prosecutors in which he pled no contest to 1 count of misdemeanor reckless driving -- and was sentenced to 6 months probation, his license has been suspended for 6 months and he has to complete a driver's safety course.

Broner was also sentenced to 30 days in jail ... but most likely won't do the time because that part of his sentence was "suspended" ... meaning it'll only be enforced if he screws up.

Last month Broner suffered his second career defeat when he lost a twelve round unanimous decision to Shawn Porter at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
