Graphic photo: Fatal accident along Lokoja-Abuja expressway leaves 30 people dead

At least 30 people lost their lives in a fatal accident along the Lokoja-Abuja expressway yesterday July 5th. According to reports, the luxury bus, which was coming from Lagos and heading to Abuja ran into a road block mounted by armed robbers. As the bus was trying to manoeuvre its way, a Trailer truck filled with cows rammed into it, killing several people on the spot.

The heads of six of the victims were completely severed. Most of the people who died were sitting in the first seven rows of the bus The driver of the bus also died. Police were seen removing the bodies of the victims from the road earlier today...*Graphic pic from the scene after the cut...*

Its ridiculous when you say "accident". This was not an accident. Accident implies an event that could not be foreseen or prevented. It was a deliberate action by armed robbers and a lack of action by many regulatory bodies in our country meant to keep our people safe that resulted in this. Is is NOT an accident

Am scared of travelling...RIP to d dead.

See the nonsense country we call 'our'. Salaries not paid and Govt has removed military and police from the roads. When last did we hear this road block story. robbers in lekki Fashola said it was because GEJ was in town. The recent one went on in 2 banks Fashola no comment......we prayed and God gave us GEJ we were impatient with God. Manna was not enough to satisfy us and we sought rice beans and plantain. It is now on our plate. A month from today 1 dollar will be 320naira. LINDA QUOTE ME. Tanko

1970 military strategy cant work in 2015. GMB is an old man. He shd face his cows. Now the military chiefs are in sambisa , the sambisa inhabitants are now with the people. Sounds like democracy abi. Command comes from the center and not feom the war front. The guys that took out osama were not living in pakistan. Bubu take note. Return thw military and police to out road. Please sir. GEJ is not clueless afterall. He had a better terror strategy
