Egis Klimas, manager of WBO featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (4-1, 2KOs) of Ukraine, is looking at two potential opponents for his fighter's next return - which is being discussed for a November date in Dubai.

One of the opponents in the mix is former champion Simpiwe Vetyeka (27-3, 16KOs) of South Africa. He lost a technical decision to Nonito Donaire last year and bounced back in December with a twelve round decision victory over Arturo Reyes.

The other option is newly crowned IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby, who captured the belt from Lomachenko's stablemate Evgeny Gradovich in May.

After Selby (21-1, 8KOs) captured the belt at the O2 Arena in London, he turned to Klimas (who has Gradovich) and requested a unification with Lomachenko.

"Possibly Vasyl's next opponent will be the former world champion Simpiwe Vetyeka. One of the options is also a unification bout against Briton Lee Selby. When Selby won the title in his fight with Eugene Gradovich, he looked at me and said he wanted to fight Lomachenko. Let's see if he keeps to his word," Klimas said.
