GLENDORA >> One person was in custody Tuesday after trying to rob a Citibank branch, police said.

Tony Ursulo, 61, was being held on $100,000 bail after using a gun during the robbery, Glendora police Sgt. Chris Stabio said.

Police received a report of a robbery in progress at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday at the Citibank, 401 E. Arrow Highway. Officers surrounded the bank and the employees walked out, Stabio said.

Ursulo then walked out and was taken into custody, he said.

Officials were not releasing any other information Tuesday evening.

Ursulo is being held at the Inmate Reception Center in Los Angeles pending an initial court appearance, according to county booking records.
