CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Pig roasts are a summertime tradition for many Northeast Ohioans, and The Greenhouse Tavern in downtown Cleveland has jumped on the bandwagon.
Starting at 6 p.m. on Monday evenings, guests can climb to the restaurant's rooftop at 2038 East Fourth Street and enjoy chef Jonathon Sawyer's weekly special: a rooftop pig roast.
The menu includes pork buns ($12); collard greens or baked beans ($4); and a full plate, including pulled pork, greens, corn bread, cole slaw, grilled corn and dessert of strawberry-rhubarb cobbler ($35). Popsicles and other specials will be available.
Among those summertime specials: Sawyer's popular buckets of fried chicken, available to-go or on the rooftop.
