Mosese Fifita | Glacier Peak
Fifita, who will play football at Air Force, was a first-team all-conference defensive lineman for the Grizzlies and an All-Area first-team selection by The Herald. He also won the Class 3A state wrestling championship at 285 pounds in February, finishing the season undefeated.
Tyler McArthur | Lynnwood
McArthur was a second-team all-conference basketball player and also competed in cross country and track for the Royals. He placed third in the high jump at last month’s Class 3A state meet.
Chase Reid | Lake Stevens
Reid, who maintains a 3.7 grade-point average, was the male recipient of the Cliff Gillies Award at Lake Stevens. He was a three-sport athlete, participating in cross country, swimming and diving, and track. He won the Class 4A state diving championship earlier this year and is the school record holder in that event.
Taron Castleton | Mountlake Terrace
Castleton was a four-year letterman in wrestling and also ran cross country for the Hawks. He carries a 3.5 GPA, served as ASB president, is an Eagle Scout and is active in the community.
Adam Davenport | Cedarcrest
Davenport earned eight varsity letters during his time at Cedarcrest, including three in football, two in basketball and three in baseball. He was named Cascade Conference MVP in baseball this season and has committed to play at the University of Washington. He started at quarterback for the Red Wolves for three years and was honorable mention all-conference in each of those seasons. He carries a 3.5 GPA and has performed more than 100 hours of community service during his time in high school.
Trent Green | Darrington
Green, The Herald prep writers’ pick, was a 12-time varsity letterman, including four in football, three in basketball and five in baseball, having played on the varsity team as an eighth-grader. He is the first student to letter five times in baseball at Darrington. He carries a 3.6 GPA and has volunteered his time for several worthy causes, including the American Cancer Society and Oso mudslide relief.
