The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association and the Washington Army National Guard have announced its 2014-15 Scholastic Cup Champions.
King’s High School secured its eight Scholastic Cup Championship with 2,075 points, the all-time highest mark in any classification, besting second-place Lynden Christian by 1,070 points. The Knights captured four athletic state championships and six academic state championships during this 2014-15 school year.
“The Scholastic Cup showcases schools that excelled in sportsmanship, academics and competition achievement for an entire year,” WIAA executive director Mike Colbrese said. “This award brings and entire school together as each student-participant contributed to capturing the Association’s highest honor.”
