The south defeated the north in the Wesco Senior All-Star game last Thursday at Lake Stevens High School. The game is used to help nominate players for The All-State games to be held June 13 and 14 at Parker-Faller Field in Yakima.
No highlights from the game were reported, but 10 players were nominated to participate in the All-State games. Some of the 10 players selected will be chosen, along with players from other feeder games held across the state, to participate in Yakima.
The players nominated were Justin Brown and Chase Ridder from Lake Stevens, Snohomish’s Ryan Sandifer and Ben Dmochowsky, Monroe’s Andrew Chartrand, Mount Vernon’s Jason Mustappa and Ryan Fredrickson and Marysville Pilchuck’s Nic Anderson, Landon Riker and Parker House.
