Granite Falls senior softball players Makenzie McLaughlin and Lauren Harding have both committed to separate colleges where they will extend their softball careers.
McLaughlin, who has started at first base the past three seasons for the Tigers and was the defensive Most Valuable Player for Granite Falls this season, will play at Northwest Christian University.
Harding, who was a four-year letterman and star pitcher for the Tigers will play at Linfield University. She pitched 140 innings this season, striking out 142 batters with a 15-7 record and a 2.90 earned run average.
