SELAH — Granite Falls was eliminated from the 2A state softball tournament on Saturday in a loss to Ellensburg.
Taylor Arndt led Granite Falls in hitting, going 2-for-3 with an RBI, run scored, and stolen base. Lauren Harding doubled and scored a run, Dannica West singled in a run, and Emily Fitzgerald also drove in a run for the Tigers.
Kelsey Bechtholdt, Mikayla Engstrom, Caitlinn Santiesteban, and Hailey Teter each collected a hit for Granite Falls.
Granite Falls dropped to the consolation bracket following a loss to Othello in the quarterfinals on Friday and would have had to win three games to earn third place. The Tigers completed the season with a 19-9 overall record.
