Eek! Worst Dressed Ever at the CFDA Fashion Awards

There are fashion faux pas, then there are outright style crimes

Fashion faux pas doesn't even begin to cover these CFDA Fashion Awards red carpet catastrophes. Seriously—just look at them!

As a designer herself, Adrienne Landau should've known better than to wear this cobweb and feather boa creation back in 2012. And Michelle Harper's 2012 ensemble falls into the category of: oy vey! From the botched hairdo to the pop-art eye makeup and half-sheer gown, this look is just weird.

Lady Gaga isn't exactly known for her demure sense of style, and this sheer nipple-baring Mugler design delivered in shock value. Oh, and FYI—that lengthy tulle train proved removable, as the singer ditched it to receive the 2011 Fashion Icon Award on stage, revealing a spike thong. You just can't make this stuff up!

Also at the 2011 bash, Daphne Guinness was plain bizarre in a clunky black and gold Abed Mahfouz design, no-heel pumps and a sculpted topper. And proving that less probably would've been more, Julie Macklowe wore an ultra-voluminous, iridescent green Zang Toi number to the 2011 CFDAs.

Think that's the worst of it? Wrong! See even more wacky red carpet CFDA Fashion Awards gowns in the gallery below.
