Josh Duggar's Cousin Amy Encourages Fans to ''Pray for Your Enemies'' in Wake of Molestation Scandal

Aspiring singer took to Instagram to share religious musings with her followers

Amy Duggar is turning to prayer in the wake of the 19 Kids & Counting scandal. 

Following Josh Duggar's admission that he "acted inexcusably" when he was a teenager in response to accusations that he sexually assaulted underage girls, the 27-year-old reality star's cousin Amy has been posting on social media about the power of prayer. 

"No matter what happens in life our prayers are heard. Pray for your enemies. Pray for people who judge you and mistreat you. Pray for God's will in every aspect of your life," the aspiring singer captioned an Instagram post of a bible verse from Thessalonians which reads "never stop praying."

Duggar, who does not adhere to same the stict rules of courtship as her cousins, also posted a few religious musing on Twitter. 

Amy's Instagram was posted on the same day that 19 Kids & Counting was pulled from Hulu as a number of advertisers have severed their ties with the famous family following the revelations about Josh's past. 

Most recently, ConAgra Foods, CVS, H&R Block and Keurig cut ties with the TLC show on Wednesday just shortly after Walgreens, Payless Shoes and General Mills announced that they were taking steps to ensure that their commercials no longer ran during the controversial series.  

Additionally, 19 Kids & Counting has been pulled for the foreseeable future from TLC's lineup.
