Fuller House can survive without Michelle, but not without Danny Tanner!

Fortunately, Bob Saget is confirmed to be part of the show's Netflix reboot. John Stamos (that's Uncle Jesse to you!) shared the "best piece of casting [news] yet" on Twitter Thursday, writing, "The great @bobsaget will be joining out show on @netflix- this completes the perfect reunion!"

Saget retweeted Stamos, adding playfully, "How did you get this information? Kidding! Love you Jesse!"

This cast is shaping up nicely: Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone), Lori Loughlin (Aunt Becky) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler, DJ's best friend)  are all signed on to reprise their roles as well. Notably absent from this lineup? Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, who sadly will not be back to play their shared role as the youngest Tanner kid....how rude!

Stamos tweeted he was "heartbroken" the Olsen twins weren't on board for Fuller House. "I understand they're in a different place and I wish them the best," he added. "I promise you will not be disappointed with our reunion and spin off!!"

We weren't worried about that, Uncle Jesse! And while Stamos is understandably disappointed the Olsen twins aren't coming home to their former TV family, the show's Executive Producer Robert L. Boyett seemingly understands their decision, saying in a statement, "Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family. It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes towards Fuller House."

See that? No bridges burned. So cross those fingers that maybe (just maybe) Michelle will make at least pop in for a surprise cameo sometime down the line!

Netflix has ordered a 13-episode season of Fuller House, which is set to premiere in 2016.
