Even superstar Adele has her fangirl moments!

Such was the case on Wednesday when the 27-year-old "Rolling In the Deep" singer met Stevie Nicks, prompting the British musician to post a rare social media pic on her Twitter account in which she's beaming from ear to ear while posing alongside her idol.

"So...tonight was THE best night of my life. I love you Stevie Nicks!! The queen of melodies! Thanks for everything x," the Academy Award winning musician captioned the pic.

According to NME magazine, the famous singers crossed paths at the Fleetwood Mac concert on Thursday evening at London's O2 arena, where the band kicked off their U.K. tour. The site reports that Nicks dedicated the song "Landslide" to Adele before gushing over the singer's immeasurable talent.

"She's from here - you might know her," Nicks reportedly said. "She's a fantastic songwriter... I told her 'You're going to be me in 40 years, you're going to still be up onstage doing what you're doing because of your songwriting.'"

Easy to see why Adele called the evening the best night of her life...

The multi Grammy-winner wasn't the only famous face in the audience during the opening night of Fleetwood Mac's tour. Florence & the Machine's Florence Welch also posted an Instagram pic in which she's hanging backstage with Stevie.
