It is a big weekend for the Oregon Ducks Baseball team. Actually, big is an understatement. For a team looking to make the post season, wins this weekend against UCLA will be key. The Bruins bring to Eugene the Pac-12 Title, already won last week, their 11th Pac-12 Conference Title. Then Bruins are one win away from having the most conference wins in school history. Oregon won all three games last season when three games were played in Los Angeles. Both coaches, George Horton and the Bruins John Savage are 9-9 against each other. Something has to give and it will this weekend.

UCLA is coming off a 1-0 win and no hitter against Arizona last weekend. The Bruins can also sweep the Pac-12 Conference season with a series win against Oregon. As a team they have not lost a season series in 2015.  The second ranked Bruins also bring a high RPI into the series, which with a few wins, the Ducks can help themselves by boosting their chances of getting into the NCAA Tournament and post season play.

UCLA has won eight of their last ten games and the Oregon Ducks are riding a seven game winning streak. The three game series starts on Friday night at PK Park. First pitch is set for 4pm Pacific Time. Saturday’s game is set to begin at 7pm Pacific Time and the Sunday regular season finale for both teams is slated for Sunday at Noon. All three games will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
