Prep boys golf: 4A District Tournament

EVERETT — Snohomish’s Ethan Casto and Luke Kuna shot the lowest rounds of the day Wednesday with scores of 72 apiece. Fellow Panther Keegan Willis finished tied for fourth with a round of 76.

Arnold Ha of Jackson shot a 75, good enough for third place, while Monroe’s Owen Fenner shot a 76 to tie Willis and round out the top five.

Snohomish took first place in the team rankings with a score of 381. Monroe (429), Cascade (431), and Lake Stevens (432) rounded out the top four.

The top-24 golfers after Day 1 will compete again Thursday to determine the 10 qualifiers for state, with two alternates being selected as well.
