The Oregon Ducks Softball team has been on a roll of late and look to be primed for a run in the post season. After sweeping their last two series at Howe Field against Louisiana-Lafayette and Cal this past weekend, the team has reclaimed the top spot in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll.

It is also another week of accolades for the Oregon Ducks as the Pac-12 named Hailey Decker as Pac-12 Player of the Week and Lauren Lindvall as Freshman of the Week. It marks the eighth consecutive week that Oregon has taken at least on of the Player of the Week awards.

Decker had quite the weekend hitting at a .700 clip and going seven for ten against Cal. She had two doubles, two home runs and drove in eight in the three game series. She started the weekend going two for three on Friday and never looked back.

Linvall did most of her work on Saturday going three for three with two homeruns. She was four for six on the weekend with three runs scored to go along with three RBI’s and a perfect performance in the field on Defense.

Oregon hits the road for the final week of the season and will start a three game series at Arizona starting on Thursday.
