WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Trumbull County Department of Job and Family Services is recruiting for the 2015 Summer Youth Program.

The program will serve economically disadvantaged Trumbull County youth between the ages of 16 through 24 and will run from June 15, 2015 to August 7, 2015.

Youth selected for participation in the program will be paid $8.10 per hour and will work 30 hours per week.

Applicants must apply in person and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, if under age 18.  Those applicants aged 18 and older who are not attending high school must be a custodial or non-custodial parent.

The following documentation must be presented at the time of application.

  • Social Security Card
  • Driver’s License or State ID
  •  Birth Certificate
  • Proof of residence (rent receipt, letter or bill indicating name and current address)
  • Proof of total gross household income for the past 30 days (pay stubs, food stamps, unemployment, Social Security printout of all household members)
  • School Attendance

  •  Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at Trumbull County Department of Job and Family Services
  •  Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Joseph Badger High School
  •  Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at Trumbull County Department of Job and Family Services
  •  Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Brookfield High School
