The Oregon Ducks Spring Scrimmage was on Saturday and there are still plenty of questions entering the 2015 season. One of those questions was apparently answered as Quarterback Jeff Lockie made a statement going nine for nine passing with three touchdowns on the day.

The Ducks are also loaded at Wide Receiver entering the season and Mark Schlabach from ESPN released his ‘Way Too Early Top 25’ for the upcoming season, the Oregon Ducks are ranked in the top five.

Ohio State, the Defending National Champions to the list, with TCU picking up the 2nd spot. The Horned Frogs, according to the article, have nine players returning on Defense and should be considered a dangerous team entering 2015. The team averaged over forty-five points per game last season.

The Oregon Ducks come in at third on the list and after a positive performance in the Spring Game from Lockie, there is promise looking ahead. One player has yet to arrive on campus. Transfer Vernon Adams will likely add another wrinkle to the Ducks Offense.

The National Respect factor is still there for the Oregon Ducks, despite losing a Heisman Trophy Winner in Marcus Mariota.

Six teams from the Pac-12 made the list including USC coming in right behind the Oregon Ducks at number five. UCLA(11), Arizona(13), Arizona State(19), and Stanford(23) also made the ‘Way Too Early’ list.

Oregon starts the 2015 season hosting Eastern Washington on Saturday, September 5th at Autzen Stadium.
