"St Frederick is very proud to be boys and girls District 2-1A champions for 2015. It took a total team effort and came down to the last few races at the district meet," St. Frederick coach Dalton LeBleu said. "The long hours of dedication and preparation by our athletes and coaches paid off. We were very excited when John Ellender received the Outstanding Male Runner trophy for scoring the most points by an individual in running events. We are looking forward to moving on to the regional track meet this Tuesday at Lakeside and hope to be able represent our district at the state track meet in Baton Rouge (May 7-9)."
