La. Tech game rained out

MIAMI – Friday night’s series opener between Louisiana Tech Baseball and FIU has been postponed due to inclement weather and will be played as part of a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Central Saturday in Miami.

The series was originally scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Friday at FIU Baseball Stadium, but rain forced the tarp on the field before the game was underway. After over an hour delay, the decision was made to call the game and play two games Saturday afternoon.

Following the doubleheader Saturday, Tech and FIU will conclude the series at noon Sunday in Miami.
