The Oregon Ducks will start a three game series on Friday with the Washington Huskies at PK Park without two key members on the field in Head Coach George Horton, who was ejected last weekend and suspended two games for arguing with the umpire last week against USC on the road. Scott Heineman will also miss Friday’s game for the same reason.

Assistant Coach Mark Wasikowski will take the helm for Oregon in the first two games of the series.

Oregon enters the series against Washington in a tough spot. After a rough month of March going seven for seventeen in the win column, April has the team at .500 entering the series with the Huskies and 6-6 on the month. The season will be coming to a close in another month and there are twenty-one games to go for Oregon to make a statement and get back to the NCAA Tournament.

Washington and Oregon are ranked seventh and eighth in the Pac-12 Standings entering this weekend. Freshman Joey Morgan will be one to watch for the Huskies. He enters the series with a seven game hitting streak as Washington looks to also make a push toward the post season.

All three games of the series will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks. Friday’s Game starts at 7, Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday’s series finale begins at Noon.
