EDMONDS — Lynnwood catcher Brady Girgus hit a two-run homer and scored twice in the Royals’ win over Wesco 3A South rival Edmonds-Woodway.
The Royals’ Lucas Jungman went 2-for-2 with a double, run, and three RBI. Brice Foster went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored and Kyler McMahan had a 2-for-3 night with an RBI and two runs scored.
Dominic Marinez hit his second home run in as many weeks for Edmonds-Woodway in the loss. Chantz Justice went 2-for-3 at the dish with two doubles, two RBI, and a run scored and Branden Mitchell also doubled for the Warriors.
