He joins at the end of May and will focus on project and digital engineering, design management and quality.
Peter Williams was most recently with consultant Aecom, where he was in charge of building engineering across Europe, the Middle East and Africa region. Before that, he headed building services engineering for WSP and previously spent 10 years at Arup, latterly as its building engineering leader in London.
