Where are our priorities?

We’re talking about cutting funding for our colleges and universities as well as for health care.

Why is our state in such poor financial condition? Obviously it’s because of wasteful spending. For example, in our area, we’re talking about building an unneeded fourth bridge across the Ouachita River while our highways, roads, streets, bridges and now the flood wall are falling apart.

What is wrong with maintaining what we already have? Where are our priorities?
