Basic Computer and Technology Class Offered

Basic computer and Internet instruction classes are offered at the West Ouachita Senior Center every Thursday from 2:15-4:15 p.m. These informative sessions are taught in WOSC's Computer and Technology Lab by ULM Computer Science student, Camille Barmore. Classes will focus on navigating your way around the basic functions of a computer, browsing the Internet safely, the basics of sending and receiving email, and mobile devices such as iPhone and iPad.

AARP Income Tax Service for 2015

AARP Tax Aide Coordinator Herb Scribner and trained volunteers will provide senior adults with free computer generated income tax returns and e-filing until April 15, at the West Ouachita Senior Center. Appointments are required. Tax assistance will be available Monday or Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Vantage Wellness Series

Vantage Wellness coordinator Terrieha Romer and Regional Silver Sneaks representative will present a Vantage fitness class to improve physical, mental and cognitive health. The class will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Registration will begin at 1:30 p.m.
