Armstrong’s actions shock constituent

I was absolutely appalled to hear of the behavior of City Council Chairman Ray Armstrong. For him to treat Carrick Inabnett, a respected member of our community, an attorney and a spokesman for CenturyLink, in such a manner shows that Armstrong is a man ignorant in the workings of government. He should be ashamed. If fact, I should be ashamed.

Within our republic, our elected representatives do just that: represent the people who elected them. While I did not vote for him, he is still my representative. I would like to apologize to Mr. Inabnett for this man's behavior. I would also like to remove him from office. Let the members of his district who feel that he does not represent them help me begin a recall petition to do just that.

A man who would abuse the trust of those he represents, attack respected members of the community who actually attend the City Council meetings and laugh at the concerns of such an important part of our community as CenturyLink is an embarrassment to us all.
