Oregon Ducks Sweep UC Irvine, Graham With 6 RBIs

The Oregon Ducks are off to a good start on their current road trip sweeping UC Riverside in the first two games. Game One was thirteen inning victory for the Ducks. On Thursday the took the Offensive explosion approach winning 12-3.

Josh Graham led the charge with a grand slam and six RBIs. The Oregon Ducks jumped out to a fast start with two runs in the first inning and added seven runs in the third inning. Second Baseman Mitchell Tolman continued his hot hitting with an RBI single in the first inning.

Freshman Pitcher Cole Hastert had a debut that he will remember for a long time entering the game in the sixth inning of Wednesday’s game. Hastert retired twelve of the thirteen batters he faced and will clearly be a part of the team in 2015 as he burned his redshirt.

Oregon has now won three straight games entering a key Pac-12 matchup with Arizona this weekend. The Wildcats have won ten of the their last twelve games entering the weekend.

The Oregon Ducks and Arizona Wildcats will meet in Pac-12 play three times this weekend starting on Friday and Saturday at 7pm Pacific Time, and Sunday at 11am Pacific Time.
