The Oregon Softball team is on a roll. The Ducks hosted Utah Valley in a doubleheader on Thursday and won both games handily in the friendly confines of Howe Field. It was the Utah Valley Offense that struck first in Game One with a home run, but Oregon did not let that stand for long coming back and winning the game 9-1 in six innings. The Ducks then went on to win the second game 3-0 with Karissa Hovinga picking up the win.

In Game One First Baseman Hailey Decker showed her offensive power with a grand slam helping Starter Geri Ann Glasco to her sixth win of the season for the Oregon Ducks. Not only did she pick up the win on the mound, but she was also an impressive 2-2 at the plate helping her own cause. Hovinga is 7-1 on the season following her game two performance.

Oregon has again shown that they have power behind their workhorse on the mound Cheridan Hawkins who did not play in the doubleheader. She will likely see the mound on Friday, the start of a three game series as Coach Mike White sees his team return to Pac-12 Conference play against Washington(29-7, 2-3 Pac-12).

The game Friday is slated for a 3pm Pacific Time first pitch. Games Two and Three on Saturday and Sunday are both set to start at 2pm Pacific Time. All three games of the series with the Huskies will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
