Sources have advised BoxingScene.com that Kell Brook's upcoming mandatory defense of the IBF welterweight title, against Jo Jo Dan, could possibly land on Showtime. Brook (33-0, 22KOs) vs. Dan (34-2, 18KOs) is scheduled for March 28th from the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield.

Brook captured the title in a Showtime televised main event last August in California, with a twelve round majority decision over Shawn Porter.

Showtime has a 'Premier Boxing Champions' doubleheader scheduled that night, with Gary Russell Jr. challenging WBC featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez and a junior middleweight bout between Vanes Martirosyan and Jermell Charlo.

If Showtime picks up Brook-Dan, the card would become a split-site tripleheader.

Dan is represented by Al Haymon and promoted by Lou DiBella.

BoxingScene reached out to DiBella, who confirmed there were ongoing discussions with the network.

"We would love the fight to be on U.S. TV and we're talking to Showtime. Right now there is nothing to announce. We're having discussions and hopefully we can get it done," DiBella told BoxingScene.com.
