The Oregon Ducks are looking to get to the postseason, similar to their counterpart with the Men’s Basketball team, but their chances of getting there are slipping away. Oregon dropped their fourth straight game on Thursday night at Matthew Knight Arena to a visiting Cal Bears team ranked twenty-fourth in the country.

Junior Jillian Alleyne was her typical self putting up points and rebounds, but it was not enough. She had thirty-three points and sixteen rebounds in the loss as the Ducks dropped to tenth place in the Pac-12 Conference with the loss. Oregon now sits at 5-12 in the Conference and 10-16 overall. The regular season will come to a close on Sunday against another ranked team in Stanford. The Cardinal enter the game ranked nineteenth.

It has been a good season for the program and new Head Coach Kelly Graves who inherited a system that he had to develop into his style of play. The pieces are coming together and you can see it on the floor every game. This should be a different team next season as he continues to implement his style of play on both sides of the floor. His first official recruiting cycle will help as well.

Oregon and Stanford will tipoff on Sunday at 1pm Pacific Time on ESPNU.
