Young, who finished his Oregon Career at home last weekend with a win against ninth ranked Utah put up twenty-five points against Cal on the road. Dwayne Benjamin had eighteen points and ten rebounds for a double-double. The win also helped keep the Oregon Ducks in third place for the upcoming Pac-12 Tournament and a key first round bye.

For the game Oregon scored just four baskets in the final eleven minutes of the game, but the team was able to counter with solid free throw shooting going ten for eleven down the stretch to seal the victory. Oregon now has key road wins against Arizona State, Illinois, and Cal. Up next the road trip continues against Stanford and the season finale on Corvallis against in-state rival Oregon State.

Oregon’s victory was key to keeping pace not only in the Pac-12, but also for postseason hopes. The Ducks shot better than fifty-seven percent in the first half against Cal. Stanford is next for Oregon on Sunday. Tipoff is set for 4pm Pacific Time on Fox Sports 1.
