Having a partner with dementia, 'like having a child'

Laurie Graham, whose husband suffers from dementia, says having a partner with the disease is "like having a child" without the associated pleasures.

"He is like a stranger... he looks like my husband, but Howard is gone."

Dealing with dementia is difficult according to Laurie and "would be easier if I still had my husband".
