Sporting News: Oregon Ducks Adams In Top Twenty-Five Quarterbacks for 2015

Spring Practice in College Football is still a few weeks away and The Sporting News has come out with their opinion on the Top 25 Quarterbacks entering the 2015 season and the newest member of the Oregon Ducks has made the list. Incoming Transfer Vernon Adams from Eastern Washington has not even taken a snap with his new school yet, but he enters the ranking at number twenty.

There are several Pac-12 Quarterbacks ahead of Adams on the list including Anu Solomon from Arizona at eighteen, Stanford’s Kevin Hogan at sixteen, Jared Goff from Cal comes in at thirteen. Cody Kessler from USC will visit Oregon in Eugene this season and is the highest ranked on the list at number five. Some of the Ducks non-conference opponents also have signal callers on the list including Michigan State with Connor Cook. Ohio State has two quarterbacks on the list in Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett.

Adams will look to step in and have success following the Oregon Career of Marcus Mariota who decided to declare for the NFL Draft following his Junior year at Oregon. Mariota will likely be one of the top picks in the 2015 NFL Draft in April.

Oregon will begin Spring Practice starting in April. The annual Spring Game will take place on Saturday, May 2nd at Autzen Stadium.
